ON-SITE WORKSHOPS - SMART TECHNOLOGIES HARDWARE/SOFTWARE

 
 

SMART Product Overview
 

2-Hours, $499
SMART Board OR SMART Interactive Flat Panel (IFP): This Workshop is intended to showcase hardware capabilities and features and as well as an overview of Notebook software.
Prerequisites: None  •  Maximum participants: 12  •  Participants are asked not to use computers during this Workshop.


SMART Level 1 - Notebook Basics

2-Hours, $499(Also available as a webinar! See Below)
This On-Site Workshop offers an in-depth look into the basic software features with emphasis on creating and saving lessons, and incorporating prebuilt content from the SMART Exchange.
Prerequisites: None  •  Maximum participants: 12  •  Participants are asked not to use computers during this Workshop.


SMART Level 2 - Notebook Premium Features

2-Hours, $499 (Also available as a webinar! See Below)
Building on the basic skills from the Level 1 training,  teachers/instructors are shown how to create engaging activities that allow student participation using Chromebooks or other personal devices, tablets (iPads, etc.), smartphones.
Prerequisites:  Notebook Level 1  •  Maximum participants: 12  •  Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops (or the Workshop can be held in a computer lab). 


SMART Level 3 Notebook Response

2-Hours, $499
Building on the skills from Levels 1 and 2 training, teachers are shown how to build and administer online assessments using SMART Response 2 (incorporated in the software). Great for school districts using Chromebooks or other personal devices, tablets (iPads, etc.), smartphones.
Prerequisites:  Notebook Level 1 and 2  •  Maximum participants: 12  •  Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops (or the Workshop can be held in a computer lab).


SMART Software Suite

6-Hours, $1,499
The equivalent of Notebook Level 1, 2, 3 training combined.
Prerequisites: None.  •  Maximum participants: 12  •  Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops (or the Workshop can be held in a computer lab).


SMART Meeting Pro

2-Hours, $499
This Workshop offers an in-depth look into the features and functionality of SMART’s corporate/government collaborative software.
Prerequisites: None  •  Maximum participants: 12


SMART kapp iQ and Meeting Pro (SMART Interactive Flat Panels)

3-Hours, $749
This Workshop offers a comprehensive tour of the features and functionality of SMART’s corporate/government collaborative software, paired with a demonstration of the SMART kapp iQ functionality (onboard Android device) including the built-in whiteboarding features, hosting collaborative sessions with the kapp app,  as well as saving and sharing meeting content.
Prerequisites: None  •  Maximum participants: 12


SMART IT Administrators Workshop

3-Hours, $749
Designed for staff members responsible for administering and maintaining SMART hardware and software, this Workshop offers a in-depth analysis into the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for various models of SMART Boards and Interactive Flat Panels (IFPs), as well as projectors and sound systems.
Prerequisites: None  •  Maximum participants: 12

Pressed for Professional Development  time? Valley now offers live Webinar Workshops for SMART Notebook Level 1 and Level 2.  These Workshops can be broken into sessions as short as 30 minutes and delivered over a span of weeks. By simply using the Google Chrome web browser and Google Meet, your teachers/instructors can watch and hear Valley's live presentation from your location in one or more rooms (4 max) and ask questions as needed. (Similar to WebEx or GoToMeeting)

Note: SMART Notebook software Workshops; Levels 1, 2, 3, as well as the 6-hour suite are available as well for Epson BrightLink® projectors (minus SMART Ink and kapp, as these features are only active when connected to a SMART Board or SMART IFP).

 
 

Epson BrightLink® Interactive Projector Overview

2-Hours, $499
This Workshop offers an Introduction to the BrightLink® interactive projector hardware and onboard software features. Emphasis will be placed on pen and finger touch capabilities, calibration, and basic troubleshooting with an overview of whiteboard sharing and dual screen functionality.

Epson IT Administrator Workshop – Advanced Features

3-Hours, $749
Designed for staff members responsible for administering and maintaining Epson BrightLink® interactive projectors, this Workshop covers projector operation, connections, alignment, pen and finger touch calibration, preventative maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and the available wired and wireless network settings and features of the projectors.
