SMART Board SUMMER Workshop
|

Workshop Description
This workshop session is led by a SMART certified Master's trainer who works with SMART products every day. In this workshop, you will be introduced to set up procedures, hardware components, and how to use and operate the interactive whiteboard. Features of the Notebook software will be introduced with emphasis on the on-line training and free sample lessons. By the end of the workshop, youll be comfortable with the SMART Board interactive whiteboard and ready to start using it in your classroom.

Workshop Description
This workshop session is led by a SMART trainer who works with SMART products every day. This hands-on workshop will introduce you to all of the SMART Board components. You will learn how to use SMART Board Tools to quickly access functions that help you operate the interactive whiteboard more effectively, how to work with applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel® and PowerPoint® on your SMART Board interactive whiteboard, and how to use Notebook software to create a presentation thats enriched with graphic detail.
Participants will receive a SMART Masters Interactive Whiteboard Learner Workbook, which includes reference material, step-by-step activities and review exercises. The workbook is used during the session and is ideal for future reference. By the end of the workshop, youll be comfortable with the SMART Board interactive whiteboard and Notebook software, and know how to use them in your classroom

Workshop Description
Are you comfortable with using the SMART Board? Do you want to learn more? Are you looking for specific ideas and resources for the subjects that you teach but often just do not have the time to find them? Valley Academy is pleased to offer our new workshops tailored to the curriculum content of elementary and secondary school teachers.
In these full day workshops, you will examine best practices, and leave with exciting new ideas and ways to use the SMART Board in your own classroom. At the end of this workshop, you will leave knowing how to teach with an interactive SMART Board and will have a toolbox of resources and ideas on a resource CD to take with you.
These workshops are not to be missed!

- Secondary Workshops, offered to teachers of grades 6 to 12, will be organized by content one session
